Second Grade Parent Newsletter #29
This week we are reading “Cowboys.” Please practice our new spelling words. The last three spelling words are “challenge words.” Our word wall words will be reviewed for the rest of the school year. The words we are reviewing this week can be found in the boxes of this newsletter. Please listen to your child read these words. A list of this week’s vocabulary words is on this newsletter as well. With the vocabulary words, talk about their meanings and have your child make sentences orally using the words correctly.

Please make sure you are reading every night! Your kids have done super this year, and I want that to continue through the summer months into next school year.
Your child has learned lots of new websites to visit to help reinforce the skills we are learning in class. I encourage you to set aside a time for them to practice these skills at home.
